How do we book ? By either email, or phone. Contact details are shown on the contact page. There are some last minute offers so please contact us for details. Is a booking deposit required? Yes, we require a 25% deposit with the return of you’re booking form to confirm the booking. Full payment is not required until 8 weeks prior to the start date of your holiday accompanied by a security deposit of £150 per week (max. £300) What are the nearest airports ? We are located close to a number of Airports, the nearest of which is Perpignan ( 20 Minutes ), but Girona and Barcelona are also within easy reach. All of these airports are well served by the major low cost airlines, Ryanair, Easyjet, BMI Baby, Jet2.com. You can find links to each of these on our Links page. Where can I hire a car ? All of the major airports have rental desks. You can find links to the main ones on our links page. Generally Car hire is cheaper in Spain, and we are located only 10 minutes from the Spanish border. Where are the nearest train stations ? Perpignan, approx 25 mins drive. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to the Railway Station. Is there a bank, and supermarket nearby? There are 3 main banks in Le Boulou ( 5 min drive) all of which have ATMs outside. The local shops are equipped for all your’e needs and there are 2 large Supermarkets on the edge of Le Boulou. There are also numerous restaurants to choose from, very reasonably priced. What are the opening hours of shops and banks ? In the main, shops are open from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 7pm. Bakeries are open from 7am. You will find a butcher, baker and newsagent open on a Sun morning. English newspapers are available but are usually a day behind. Supermarkets are open 9am to 7pm non stop. Spanish supermarkets ca be found open on Sunday mornings (10 min drive from Villas)
Are teabags and toilet roll provided ? There will be basics of tea bags, coffee, loo rolls etc, provided onarrival, further supplies can be purcahsed locally
Do you provide towels, bed and kitchen linen ? Towels for use in the apartment and for the pool are included in the booking. Pool towels are available on request. Both bed and kitchen linen are provided.
Is there a hairdryer in the Villas ? Hairdryers and hair straighteners are provided in each villa. Is there a TV, Video or DVD in the Villas ? There are TVs DVDs and VCR in each villa. Do you have internet facilities? WIFI is available for a small charge. Is there a barbeque we can use ? Each villa has its own private dining Terrace with a large BBQ. Are you equipped to deal with babies and small children ? Yes, we provide cots, high chairs, prams ,changing mats, toys in fact everything you will need and don’t want to carry on a plane. We also have security gates. Is the pool fenced off. We fully comply with French law and have the pool fully protected (see photos) Is there a doctor nearby ? There are a number of English speaking doctors in the area. Each villa has a small first aid kit and the contact details of Doctors Dentists and emergency services are all available. What local facilities are there ? Lovely hill / Mountain walks. Winter Skiing, Cycle hire, Boat hire, Forts,Castles wild animal Parks. kayaking. Concerts, festivals. | |||||||
